Rare and out of print, these children’s books are loved by people of all ages of the LDS faith. This collection is 30 years old and has been especially popular over the years which make them increasingly harder to find.

This set of “The Illustrated Story of [the LDS] President[s/Prophets] . . . ” has 13 books covering the lives of LDS Prophets from Joseph Smith through Ezra Taft Benson.

The lives of the LDS prophets are filled with stories that are significant for LDS members to know. These books tell important and wonderful stories that children (and adults) love and deal with real life experiences which teach valuable lessons that assist in the growth and development of strong character in a person, adult or child.

This series has been considered to appeal to children from ages 4-12, but is also enjoyed, and very educational, to anyone of any age. The many illustrations are great at holding the reader’s interest as each story progresses. Each volume contains discussion questions which show how every story in the lives of the prophets can be profitably applied to the life of the reader.

Books range from very nice to excellent condition, especially for their age. Bindings are tight and many of the books still crackle when they are opened and the pages are crisp and clean with no writing of any kind that I could find – as I have flipped through each book looking for imperfections. They do not look like they were used very much. This set only has a few flaws that are outlined below:

A couple of the books have a little bit of bubbling on the covers.

George Albert Smith – words on spine have faded & inside covers show the glue has aged, therefore the paper attached to the glue has turned cream color instead of being white like the other books.

Ezra Taft Benson – words on spine have faded & inside covers show the glue has aged, therefore the paper attached to the glue has turned cream color instead of being white like the other books.

Please note: this type of detail provided to buyers from sellers is not very common. I have worked to be as thorough and accurate as possible regarding the condition of these books. However, due to being human, I may not have caught everything; but not for lack of trying. Any imperfections have no effect on the readability of the books and this set is in very nice condition.***
