One-of-a-Kind Classical Style Hand Carved Hardwood Wall Pocket. There are lots of little imperfections due to it being hand-carved and not made by machine. Smooth closed pore knot-less wood ( Maybe walnut) is the carved front and 5/8ths” wood for the backing that does have a knot. They are glued together all along the edges and are like one piece.
