This suitcase has been in storage for 8 decades. Both luggage latches work well but there is no key for the locks. The exterior tweed is in decent vintage condition, with a few marks, but no tears, large stains or indentations. There is some wear adding to the vintage look of the piece. The exterior fabric is a dark gray with complementary cream and faded red stripping. The interior luggage compartments and fabric are in excellent condition and the elastic is still tight and not sagging. I obtained the date for this piece by the patent # (1842385) obtained Jan 28, 1932 by O.A. Boesel. on the latch. see pics for documentation.
