[Price Drop!] OBO Let me begin with the word “flaws” as there are some with this wheelset.

Warning!: Although I have ridden these rims for many years and miles the rear rim may NOT be safe to ride (you make that call). I don’t believe it is anywhere near the point of failure while riding but that is my subjective opinion so note that. Everything on this wheel set but the back rim surface is in full working condition in my opinion [I am unaware of any other flaws real or imagined]. Bear in mind also that this wheel set is offered “AS IS” & there is no warranty either express or implied. You the buyer can & should make the judgment call as to the serviceability of the rear wheel if you intend to mount it & ride with no repairs or replacement. Upon purchase you could also have the rear wheel examined by a professional for a second opinion on the matter or simply have the rim replaced altogether.

The flaws are in the form of small hairline cracks in the rear rim. In a number of the images I have circled the small cracks in red. I have taken images from both sides of the rim which makes it appear there are more hairline cracks than there are.

I think there are 4 hairline cracks in the rim. I discovered the hairline cracks a number of months ago and have continued to ride these rims and there doesn’t appear to be any progression on them. I don’t believe there are any cracks on the sidewalls of the rims just near the spokes in several areas.

I believe this wheelset is still road worthy in spite of the small hairline cracks which is why I am offering it for sale here on KSL. If you are looking to part this wheelset out or replace the rear rim that is a solid option as well.

Rest assured because of these known flaws this wheelset is priced accordingly.

Additionally, all of the other component parts are worth more than the asking price!

It is a super solid (as with all Dura Ace tech). It rolls super fast and the silver Dura Ace stickers are reflective.

The Dura Ace hubs are super smooth and roll a long time unaided. You will boost your across the ground speed by mounting this wheelset guaranteed.
