This colt is out of Alaska Blu Lights DR, a 15hh blue roan quarter horse stallion and our tried and true bay roan mare we call Poky. This mare has been our go to, I can jump on and ask for some life and she'll give it, and we can turn around and throw the kids on her and she takes care of them (We will place pics of the mare and of the stallion in the reel) This should be a top end foal! With money earners and cow smarts in his heritage like Peppy San Badger and Blue spark Olena this Lil dude should have a bunch of potential from the ranch, down the trail, and into the arena! I am excited to see how this colt exhibits his roaning, if he takes after his half siblings its going to be sweet. This colt is already friendly and will leave the others to come up and be scratched. He likes the brush and when we are brushing his momma he will place himself so that he gets brushed to! We believe in imprint training and this colt has been loved on and handled since literally the minute he was born. Before he sells he will be halter and lead trained, have worked with the trailer, tarps, tires, water, rain jackets and sacks, and have saddle blankets and a saddle set on his back. We try to have them 'ready to ride' before they are actually big enough to ride, and this colt should be able to go any direction, and look good doing it!
