Looking for someone to take care of your pet(s) while you are away? We offer pet sitting /boarding on our 5 acre property. Your dogs will have room to roam and play while they stay here. Our property has a couple fenced yard spaces, multiple large dog runs, and large horse stalls that have been converted into dog kennels. Additionally, we have a pet safe room in our house where well-behaved house-trained dogs are also welcome to stay. Your dog will not simply be cooped up in a small kennel with a cement floor! Weather permitting, we allow dogs to spend most of their time outside running or roaming around during the day but keep dogs separate that don't get along or as otherwise needed.
Overnight Boarding: $28/day (includes up to about 24 hours)
Additional Dogs that can stay together: $20/day
Intact Males/Females in Heat/Other special cases: $10/day extra
Daycare: $20/day for up to 10 hours
Month or more discount: 20%
Additional fees may also apply to dogs that need additional special attention, care, or time. This often includes dogs that do not get along well with other dogs and/or otherwise must be kept separated, bark incessantly, or are otherwise ill-behaved, for which there is a $5-10/day extra charge. I am comfortable with and able to administer needed medications, though extra charges may apply for dogs in need of medications as well.
We are licensed and insured, and I am dog CPR certified as well. We like to spend time playing and interacting with the dogs that stay here and happily send periodic updates to owners. We generally don't have more than 5 dogs besides our own staying here overnight, so we are able to provide the dogs with plenty of attention. All dogs staying must be fully vaccinated and must be in good health.
We are not able to watch aggressive dogs or dogs, dogs that dig much, or dogs that are skilled at jumping fences or otherwise escaping. Please schedule a time with me before your dog's stay so that I can meet him/her and get a feel for your dog's temperament and so that you get a feel for our place.
I also am happy to watch other animals with fees varying depending on the level of care that they need. I have experience with a variety of animals including parrots and reptiles.
We are flexible on drop off/pick up times and will work with you as much as possible on those. We do not interact much with customers on Sundays or holidays except for drop-off/pick-up of pets and would ask that you kindly avoid those days to call us as much as possible. Most Sunday/holiday inquiries will be responded to during the next business day.
