These aren't the absolute lightest skis in their class, but loaded with carbon they're certainly light enough for all-day adventures. That extra weight (compared to UL skis) makes them incredibly smooth in sub-par snow and lets them grip icy/steep terrain incredibly well. Ideal ski for someone who skis for the descent, but still cares about weight. They also have enough tip and tail rocker to float on most days in the Wasatch. Carbon coupled with aerospace foam make these skis stiff, damp and stable - you'd think you were skiing on something at least 1,800g.
