Created with scrap "feathers", this Red-tailed Hawk took 7 months to create, piece by piece. The 1/8th inch thick steel feathers will rust for a very long time. The sculpture is 64" tall, by 45" wide at the wings. The Hawk weighs 58.6 lbs by itself. Over 400 hours were invested in this sculpture. This sculpture took first place in 3 metal divisions and "Best of Show" at the Utah State Fair.
