ApplePayGently pre-owned and finely crafted Large 23.5” X 19.5” Limited Edition Signed and numbered: #24 of 2500 serigraph print of a stylized village by Joanne Netting. Village could be in Italy, Greece, Spain, but probably Australia, since that is where Joan is from. Double matted with her signature specialty cut mat and white-washed wooden frame that allows the wood grain to show through.
Born in Australia in 1963, Netting evolved as a self-taught artist tapping into talent she credits her mother with recognizing at an early date. Encouraged by her mother, were sold. The tremendous enthusiasm generated at the premier exhibition gave Netting a great artistic boost. Netting is most profoundly influenced by the lush coastline of Australia. The warmth of the climate permeates all of Netting's works, bathing the finished piece in a glow that captures life's vitality. This comes from a Private Collection.
