The Star Trek three-disc set is a special edition available on Blu-ray, and this set also includes a digital copy. Star Trek is a long-time sci fi favorite that is a highly recognizable classic. Spock is the main character, and was originally played by Leonard Nimoy. In this theatrical remake, Star Trek has been revived by the team of J.J. Abrams and Paramount Pictures. Spock is now played by Zachary Quinto. The movie version of the television series brightens colors and depicts natural skin tones, and it provides clear imagery without distortion or static. Nine deleted scenes, along with commentary, are included in the three-disc set. A total runtime of 126 minutes provides viewers with original scenes and stories from the television series and the dry humor of Spock and Kirk. Additional features are also available on the discs. A gag reel, trailers, numerous featurettes, and a Starfleet vessel simulator are some of the special features includes in this sci fi set.
