The book contains notes and obituary clippings used by previous owner in his ancestral research of the Porter genealogy through the marriage of Sarah Porter to Samuel Church Jr. during the 1700s. Ancestor Richard Church came to Hartford from England in 1636. A scarce, unique work of ancestral research.
