VenmoMy garden boxes are made from 1" thick 100% Western Red Cedar, a naturally rot and pest resistant wood. I use decking screws instead of nails or cheap screws purchased in bulk (which most of my competition uses) and these boxes should last a very long time. The standard boxes are built 18" high with a bench around the top, just the right height to sit as you garden. They are also designed without a bottom, allowing your garden soil to drain properly so your plants will flourish. My most popular sizes are 3'X6', 3'X8' and 4'X8'. Of course I also make custom sizes, but you will have to text or call for pricing and special orders require partial payment in advance. Each box comes fully assembled, ready to put in the ground. Orders of 4 or more boxes qualify for free delivery in Davis County. I can deliver outside of Davis County, but there is a fee. Boxes 4'X8' are $300 each, 3'X8' are $260, and my 3'X6' boxes are $220 each. Thanks, Floyd 801-369-3377.
PS. I really like to keep the wood looking fresh and new vs. letting them age and turn gray. I recommend purchasing the boxes early enough to stain if wanted (I usually just put a natural stain to enhance the natural coloring) but every box really needs a water repellent type coat. The top rail, for sitting on while you garden really needs two good coats as the sun can take a toll after a couple of years without it. I usually will redo each top with a deck sealer every 2 to 3 years to make sure they last. I have some boxes that still look great after 20 years.
