This is the BAR magazine belt worn by the assistant ammo carrier. It has 5 large mag pouches and one smaller pouch. The smaller being located at the right front of the belt. The larger pouches are for the BAR mags and the smaller would be for rifle clips not for .45 magaziines as there are no dividers. Belt is an early style as the brass "buckle" is the same width as the belt. Belt looks to be British/Belgian as the shoulder straps have small brass lined holes at the ends as well as a gap in the buckles. Pouch fasteners are marked 'FIX' not 'Lift the Dot'. Conditio9n of the belt is above average considering its age.
