CAPACITY: Comfortably holds two Glock size hand guns.
FOR SALE: US Military Night Vision Goggles Lockable Storage Cases. These cases are designed for US Military Night Vision Goggles. They are at least as good as Pelican cases. Look up the Pelican 1500, I think these cases are nearly identical. If you’re looking at this ad, you probably know what you’re looking at. These are perfect for weapons or any type of sensitive equipment. You can find many sources on the internet to buy new pick and pluck foam inserts. I have five of these cases. Some have the shaped hard foam and some have the wavy type foam. All have a spring loaded handle and pressure equalization valves.
I believe these cases are compatible with AN/PVS-4 AN/PVS-4A AN/PVS-7B and probably many other night vision goggles.
Manufacturer: Starlight Cases Pine Level, NC. USA (I think) Manufacturers Model: SC–061016 (I think) Case construction: Injection Molded Plastic Polymer Resin Pelican equivalent: Pelican 1500 (I think). Approximate Dimensions (in inches, Length x Width x Height) are:\
- Case OD: 17 x 12 x 6 1/2\
- Case ID Bottom: 15 7/8 x 9 3/4 x 5 3/4\
- Case ID Top Portion Depth: 2 7/8\
- Weight: 5-6 lbs.
Note: You probably know, be sure to take into consideration the rounded corners that reduce the inside dimension a little. You can trim down the corners of pick and pluck foam so that many foam inserts will work great. I haven’t searched, but maybe someone makes direct replacement inserts with the rounded corners. If you’re like me you’ll want a form fitted shape for your hand gun or whatever your intended use is.
QUANTITY AVAILABLE: 5. $40 each or all 5 for $175.00.
CONDITION: They vary from like new to very good. First come first serve. All of them are perfectly serviceable. I don’t know about the milspec 400 feet submersion capability, but I’m sure all of them are rain proof.
