I bought this for the long handle so I could transfer to another tool but I now know it's purpose I would rather pass it on than "trash" it. It was used to clean out outhouses. The metal and wood handle are solid.

For the man/woman who has everything but still looking..... Perhaps a unique gag gift that will survive decades. It is an outhouse cleaning tool.
