We offer our Paradox Rolling Flight Deck in two color collections:
The Dark Sky Collection is blacked out by hard anodizing the aluminum/magnesium alloy which not only gives the case its stealthy matte black hue, but protects the alloy from light scratches and weathering (some pictures might appear to show a gray color but they are definitely airline compliant black).
The **Star Light Collection **is in its natural aluminum/magnesium alloy color that is reminiscent of a bygone era of early aviation. It is protected with an anodized clear plating that protects the alloy from light scratches and weathering. The retractable handle, wheels, and feet are matte black. The rivets, corner protectors and locks are chrome.
Decades of flight deck experience have culminated in the very best flight deck case available! We started simply, let no compromises into our design philosophy. We had very specific design requirements:
- Beautiful aluminum construction with bespoke looks.
- Fit the flight deck case shelf on nearly every airliner currently in use today.
- Easy access to all items inside while seated in the cockpit with one handed access.
- No complicated multi-compartment/zipper, two handed only access.
- Compartment fully secured behind TSA compliant locks, no zippers.
- No external fabric construction to get wet or torn or cut open.
- Protection from impact or crushing for the items inside and weather tight.
- Light weight but immensely strong.
- Easy rolling on two inline skate wheels to easily maneuver terminals and the aisle.
- Strength from sound engineering practices, use of aluminum/magnesium and composite materials.
- Added corner protections from rough bag handlers, and baggage carousels.
- Protections from inclement weather, chemicals like glycol, and other materials.
- Multiple bag stacking options to make your loads easier to carry.

We designed this flight deck case as a modern interpretation of the old leather Jeppesen style pilot cases.
Outside is bespoke aluminum skin with reinforced corners for the bumps of being on the road. Unlike the old leather cases ours rolls on two edge mounted inline skate wheel assemblies! It has a long multi-position retractable handle which is comfortable for any height pilot. Everything you need is accessed behind one clamshell door. We designed our door specifically to allow full access but also be able to be opened while in the flight deck seat by one hand. All of this while not interfering with the limited space available on most modern flight decks. The lid has a tongue and groove closure like our roll aboards so even if left out in the rain or snow or hit with a water hose, will stay dry inside. If you set your case down in glycol or snow or mud everything inside is safe and secure.
Inside needed to fit the modern pilots needs. Instead of charts and plotters we carry Electronic Flight Books (EFB) and ANR headsets. We made these with an EFB specific sleeve pocket which can also carry a laptop, clipboard, your favorite book/manual. The case also allows for even large 17" gaming laptops in the center of the case as well. We included two eye glasses sleeves at the back of the case. On the lid are two large velcro closure pouches which are great for wallets, passports, and other flight deck essentials. There are even a couple of pen slots on the lid for quick access. But despite all those features perhaps the best part is that we left the majority of the case open to load as you desire. There is so much room in these cases that even after a full size headset case, EFB, laptop, glasses, and the rest of your flight deck needs there is still room for a oversized water bottle, a jacket or sweater, and your pouches with your chargers, toiletries, even a change of clothes for those 'Stand ups'! We made these as large as possible but still able to fit the flight deck case shelf perfectly.
