With all the new winches coming out with synthetic rope you will wear that rope out in no time on the fairlead and with the old steel cable ones you will fray the cable or cut a groove in the fairlead. Repositions lift attach point to help reduce winch and cable strain from lower mounted winches and bad cable angles.
