We offer our Paradox Jetsetter Classic 18" Roll Aboard in two color collections:
The Dark Sky Collection is blacked out by hard anodizing the aluminum/magnesium alloy which not only gives the case is stealthy black hue, but protects the alloy from light scratches and weathering.
The Star Light Collection is in it's natural aluminum/magnesium alloy color that is reminiscent of a bygone era of early aviation. It is protected with an anodized clear plating that protects the alloy from light scratches and weathering.
Decades of professional flying experience have culminated in our beautiful high end aluminum hardside luggage. We let no compromises into our design philosophy to make the best looking, most functional luggage available at any price. We had very specific design requirements for our Jetsetter Classic collection:
- Beautiful aluminum construction with bespoke looks.
- Compartment is fully secured behind TSA compliant locks with no zippers.
- No external fabric construction to get wet or torn or cut open.
- Protection from impact or crushing for the items inside.
- Easy access compartment for cell phones, water bottles, hats or gloves in addition to your packed items.
- Light weight
- Easy rolling on four castering wheels to easily maneuver terminals and the aisle.
- Added corner protections from rough bag handlers, and baggage carousels.
- Easily removable and replaceable wheels.

Outside, you might appreciate that our Jetsetter Classic collection was inspired by the corrugated airliners of the early days of aviation. The use of corrugated aluminum allowed for thinner materials to be used and still withstand high loads and impacts on those aircraft. Our use or corrugated aluminum/magnesium alloy makes for a very light but strong case that happens to look great too! The case rolls on our four castering dual wheel assemblies that are designed with a quick release mechanism so if you need a more compact case you can simply pop off the wheels and set the case on its base losing 2.5" (6.3CM) in height. This also insures that if you ever damage a wheel, you can replace it in the field. There are no zippers to fail or fabric to tear or be cut to get into your case. Everything inside is secure behind dual TSA compliant combination locks that are a simple squeeze to spring open and simple single push to close. The single top opening clamshell opens both up and out exposing the full opening of the main case. The lid stays open with dual arms that have overcenter locks to keep it where you want it. Around the lid is our tongue and groove seal like all our cases. This means that whether it be rain or snow, or even a garden hose your valuables inside will stay dry!
**Inside **our case has a dedicated pocket for your small laptop, tablet or phone, book or notepad right at the front with a velcro strap to keep it secured. We provide four additional smaller velcro secured pouches to keep items like passports, wallets, glasses, phones and more secured and easy to access. But the real beauty is the open compartment to pack as you like. There is plenty of room for a large 17"+ laptop. Use it like a rolling briefcase and a weekends worth of clothes or pack it for a 3-4 day trip. Add our Compression Packing Cubes and you might be able to stretch a week out of our 18" Ridgeline case!
Optional mounting shoe versions are available. If you have one of our Professional Flight Crew roll aboard cases you can mount your Jetsetter using our mounting shoe version which allows it to slide down the cargo track making the two cases act as one. This provides a solid mount for your two cases. No hooks or precariously stacking one on top of the other. Simply choose your color and select the 'mounting shoe' version.
This case is a "carry-on" and will fit all standard overhead bins.
