Rockford Fosgate Series 1 154

This was in a tube style bass amp I recently acquired. My amp guy tells me it's too much speaker for it and am lucky someone didn't let out the "magic smoke".

The specs I found show it rated at 4 ohms, 150 watts. Ebay shows these listed upwards of $250. I'm asking $125.
