A super strong polycarbonate outer shell with EPS foam liner protects from impact whether you are going big in the park or shredding the bunny slopes. The built-in MIPS (Multi Directional Impact Protection System) uses a slip-plane technology to reduce rotational force that can result from certain impacts.

Customize the fit of your helmet to perfection with a dial fit system to keep it securely in place. Adjustable ventilation allows you to open or close the vents to adapt to changing temperatures, and the lined ear pads can be removed for multi-seasonal riding. The liner comes out easily for cleaning and is paneled with mesh for breathability. Goggles will fit over the helmet seamlessly and stay put in the goggle lock.

STRAIN IN THE BRAIN

The illustration is based on data that was generated using a finite element computer model, based on measurements obtained from nine acceler meters in a Hybrid III crash test dummy head. The dummy head wearing a helmet was subjected to an angled impact using the MIPS test rig. The model illustrates strain in the brain from a similar angled impact when the dummy head is wearing a helmet without MIPS and a helmet with MIPS.
