This bike in OEM configuration is HEAVY and not very suitable for fat biking. The tires start sliding off the rim and start to wobble below 8psi, even with the heavy tubes installed. The gear range is unsuitable to get up any decent hill. Specialized specs it with a 32T front and 11-34 Cassette instead of the 28 and 11-36 they advertise. OEM brakes are cable actuated mechanical disc brakes.

With all these upgrades this bike is transformed into something a kid can actually ride on the snow and have fun with. I know it is not cheap, but it makes a huge difference.
