VenmoLittle Connie got this—everybody in her class got one—in 4th grade as part of the music program. That would have been around 1967. She appears to have perforated the box with a pencil, which is a good thing because it has kept the uke from suffocating while being stored these last 57 years.
The model is 300c, according to the inner label. A search for others like this shows that there aren’t many of its kind that survived the brutality of 4th grade.
This is definitely lightweight and student grade, and it is definitely in perfect condition. I just snugged up the pegs, and it tuned nicely. I think it’s a soprano, 21” long.
