Violin - Carl Ludwig in year of 1766, Berlin. Restored by Scoggins Violin in 2010 for crack repair, fingerboard service, bridge, soundpost, touch up varnish, new pegs and chin rest. Full professional restore and service. Violin labelled Carl Ludwig 1766, Berlin. One piece back of medium flamed maple, tight grain spuce on top. Have a cetificate from 1902 when it was certified by Lyon Healy of Chicago. Beautiful instrument that shows it's age well with a sound only a great maker, good care and time can produce. Really nice rare violin for the price.
