Violin - Joh Bapt Schweitzer 1811 modelled after Hieronymus Amati. Have fitted with new pegs, soundpost, bridge, chinrest. Fingerboard and nut professionally dressed. Great old violin. Setup is all professionally done and ready for continued life and play. Patina and sound has "aged" well with its original reds turning a deep reddish black "dragons blood" I have heard it called by old makers. Great old violin "beautifully ugly". Priced to sell and be enjoyed by someone of discerning taste and ear without breaking the bank. Nice addition to a players collection, being unusual in appearance yet very playable.
