VenmoThis is the FoxTech Thea 140 hybrid drone. This drone has very few flights, less than four hours. It was originally purchased in the fall of 2020 for use in searching for missing persons as a long flight time drone. It was only used in two searches and proved not a good fit for our use case. It was purchased without a flight controller and radio and does not come with those. The flight controller (Cube Orange) had a malfunction which caused a rough landing the damaged three of the landing gears. The flight controller is no good and has not been replaced. All of the landing gears have been replaced. The engine runs very well and has been tuned to a 5000’ elevation. It comes with two 5000mAh LiPo 6s batteries, six balanced 30” propellers (3 of each direction), richenpower H2 generator/engine, engine rebuild/maintenance kit, 2 stroke oil, gas can for mixing fuel and oil, and more. The motors are T-motor MN1005 KV90. T-Motor ESCs. It has a mount that is ready for a camera.
The max take-off weight is around 50 pounds. I only flew it at around 35 to 40 pounds depending on how much fuel I had in it.
It looks like Foxtech.com no longer has this drone listed. Do a quick search on YouTube for Foxtech Thea 140 to see more details. The engine can be seen at https://www.richenpower.com/blank/h2-isg .
I do have all of the pdf files for engine maintenance, instructions for wiring connections to the flight controller for the engine and fuel sensor, and more.
Original price for this setup was $8,800. I willing to take $6,000 for this setup.
I do have a Herelink radio for purchase separately if interested for $500.
I also have a video of this drone landing during one of our searches. Let me know if you would like to see that.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
