Your vehicle will need a 2 inch hitch receiver, and the receiver will need to be at least 12 inches off the ground.

If you plan on using this with an SUV, you will likely need a hitch adapter that drops it down between two and 4 inches. They are about $35 on Amazon.

This includes the long power cable which connects to your vehicle’s main battery.
