The pioneer records vhs to dvd .it will not do every vhs but alot or home vhs .or VHS into dvd .i have used it to record 85 dvd .you just have to let the movie play throu ..it comes with remote it cost me a lot the other dvd players are nice to 25 $each thanks the sound bar is 30 $ pretty new with wires that go with it.also I could give you some blank dvd with it.
