PayPalCrafted in the late 19th century, this stunning cylinder roll-top desk is made from beautifully grained quarter sawn oak and the cylinder top is of burl. A timeless piece of American craftsmanship, it features a smoothly gliding writing tray and classic roll-top design. Sourced from a historic New York farmhouse, this desk offers both functional charm and vintage elegance—perfect for collectors or those seeking a statement piece with authentic heritage. The cylinder-top that opens to reveal a multitude of storage cubbies and drawers and a pull-out writing surface. Below this is a large, central drawer that spans the width of the desk. The desk may have been manufactured by Skandia, a furniture manufacturer that made furniture in the 1800-1900s. I estimate this piece has been in my family for almost 100 years.
