Black Tie Affair, or “Mousse” is a registered Appendix quarter horse bay/grey filly born April 30, 2025. Mousse is very friendly! She is out of our appendix broodmare Effortless Class and by our stud NBAR Hashtag Playgun. She has been weaned, halter broke, learning to tie, and is on our list to trim her once we work with her feet a bit more!

“Effortless Class” traces back to the AQHA Hall of Fame racing stallion “Corona Cartel” who had lifetime earnings of over $550,000 on the track. Her dams side also traces back to the legendary “Special Effort” stallion who won over $1.2 million on the track.

“NBAR Hashtag Playgun” is a son of the NCHA Hall of Fame Stallion “Hashtags” who has lifetime earnings of over $485,000 in the cutting pen and is an own son of the legendary “Metallic Cat”. “NBAR Hashtag Playgun” is also a grandson of “Playgun” who is very well known throughout the cutting and reined cowhorse discipline.

We don’t have current measurements on Effortless Class, but NBAR Hashtag Playgun stands at 14.2 hands.
