This beautiful upholstered MCM round (sometimes referred to as "barrel") swivel chair and ottoman was made by Harris Furniture Manufacturing Co for the McCart and Bultman Furniture Stores. McCart and Bultman, a high end furniture store, opened in 1960 in Bakersfield CA. The chair was made between 1960-1965.

The set has its original bright pistachio green cut velvet upholstery. The chair is 30" high at mid-back, 35" wide from tip to tip, and 36" deep. The ottoman is 14" tall, 15" wide, and 22" long.

The chair is of solid wood construction with no structural damage. The upholstery is in surprisingly good condition with minimal expected wear. There are two worn spots on the seat, each about the size of a quarter, as shown in the final photo.

This is a rare opportunity to own an original, good condition MCM piece that has not been reupholstered.
