ApplePayThis is such a cool amp. I hate to see it go. Used lightly only in my home studio. It is so simple, but has tone and touch-sensitivity for days. Volume and Tone is all you get. One pre-amp tube, one power tube, and one rectifier tube. They are all swappable with no biasing required, so you can swap tubes in and out to your liking. I’ve got some sweet NOS vintage tubes in there now, and I’ll let them go with the amp. Pre-amp tube is an Amperex Hammond ECC83 12AX7, Power tube is a Hytron Black Glass 6V6, and the Rectifier tube is a Bendix 6106 5Y3. The tubes alone are worth several hundred dollars. The speaker is a Celestion Alnico Blue, and I put a longer speaker cable attached to it so that you can use this as an external cab for another amp if you want (WARNING—the Niveus must be off to use this as an external cab. Make sure you plug the speaker back in to the Niveus before you turn the Niveus on!). Finished in blue tolex with a custom spacey grill cloth, befitting of the Satellite logo.
