This is a story telling hummel figurine. You can almost picure the little girl scampering up the tree to get away from the ferocious dog below and in the process loses her shoe which ends up in the dogs mouth. It is adorable and stands almost 7 inches tall with exquisite detailed features. It has the original etching of M.I. Hummel on the base and the TMK bee and West Germany on the bottom. I also have the matching boy figurine. Brought back from Germany in the 50"s. Looks like tree was originally repaired when shipped over but is not noticeable. These are a great addition to any collection or maybe a childhood memory.
