There is a reason all of the rental car agencies and hospitality industry workers use this as the intertnational standard translator unit. The main reason this is the way to go is becuase of its speed, ease of use, and long battery life, preserving your phones battery and freeing it up for other tasks.

Pocketalk translates speech into 74 languages, 55 via bilateral voice and 19 voice-to-text bilaterally. It can also perform unilateral voice-to-text translation for up to 37 obscure languages. In addition to translating the spoken word, Pocketalk supports translation of written text, such as what you would see on signs or menus. The built-in camera supports 55 different languages. You can either take a photo and have the translated text laid on top of the image, or Pocketalk can read the translated text aloud.
Cloud-Based Accuracy
The accuracy that Pocketalk is engineered to have is based on proprietary Sourcenext technology and cloud-based algorithms. Therefore, Pocketalk requires an internet connection. You can use a 3G or 4G LTE nano SIM card or dual-band Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) to connect. A complimentary 2-year mobile data plan is included, which provides coverage in over 130 countries/regions.
Dual Microphones
To help ensure your voice is picked up by the Pocketalk clearly and accurately, dual microphones are embedded into the device, along with noise cancellation technology.
Dual Speakers
To help ensure everyone can hear the translations, Pocketalk provides dual 1.5W speakers built in.
