We’ve owned this 2008 skyline rampage for about a year now it’s been an absolute stellar trailer. It’s been out quite a bit it. It was very well kept before we took ownership of it and we continued that tradition, it’s needed a little work but it’s turned out to be really reliable fun trailer.
Bed room slide works great and the A/C above the bed blows extremely cold and on hot summer days fights the heat better than we expected. The center A/C is ducted through out the trailer and creates the same effect for the rest of the trailer. The upholstery is in excellent condition with no tears and has not faded. Bathroom also in excellent condition along with the cabinets that are also in great condition. Both the furnace and water heater fire right up with no issues. The trailer also has had the plumbing redone in Pex and has a water filtration manifold if you prefer. Fresh water is 171 gallons and is true. Fresh water pump is newer and I have spare that could come with the trailer if you’d like. 50 gallon black tank with wash out located right next to drain. The black tank drain valve was replaced this year. On board generator will run both A/C units with no issue runs strong was serviced this year fresh oil, oil filter, and fuel filter. Spark plugs are still good. Again fires right up and runs smooth. It has only had 88 ethanol free fuel ran through it since we have owned it. On board fuel station holds just under 27 gallons of fuel. The pump is in good shape, I did not have to rebuild the pump and is easily done. It runs good. We did replace the fuel nozzle this year.
Trailer pulls really well the axles have already been flipped and bearings are good. Brakes are in good shape and we’ve added a hitch to the back to pull doubles and it does so well. It’s set up to pull a single axle trailer with no brakes.
The ramp door did need to be rebuilt and that was done with steel bars welded in place to create a sub frame then was rebuilt with the aluminum frame. It’s strong enough now to hold a full size jeep! I haven’t tried it though!
The garage area is big enough to fit a four seat can am that is 13’8” with 32inch paddles on 15inch wheels. On width it fits our RS that is with paddles just shy of 80 inches wide.
