NOTE: For the speaker cabinets, I custom designed, manufactured, and mostly-assembled them. A quick search on ebay for “empty speaker cabinet” (https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=empty+speaker+cabinet) shows the average cost per empty speaker cabinet is ~$150-$250 per cabinet. Because they are unfinished, and customized specifically for the parts listed above, I am pricing them at $100 per cabinet.
For the PMMA parts, those are similarly custom designed and manufactured. I’m charging $4 for the vent parts because it seemed fair and rounds the price to a multiple of 10. They’re likely worth more, but idrc. And for the standoffs, I’m chargins $0 because they need a hole drilled in them for the binding posts to rest in. The PMMA parts may need sanding to fit.
To finish the speaker, you will need:
- Screws to mount the speakers, back plate, etc.
- A Crossover
- An Amplifier
- Optionally, the side plates in the original design.
