Lena is a 16 year old papered quarter horse and is registered with AQHA. She has a sweet temperament and is just fine around geldings. My daughter queened on her for a few years but her previous owners used her as a trail horse and cattle horse. She also does very well in the arena and has a really pretty slow and controlled lope. She can spin both ways, rollback, back up any distance, and has been working on neck reigning and lead changes. She has been an incredibly fast learner and picks up on things very quickly. She has been ridden bareback multiple times. She is better suited for a more experienced rider, as she can get a little anxious and stubborn and needs someone to make her do what they need her to do. She has never bucked. She’s familiar with groundwork and lunge. She has been bathed, shoed, and de-wormed and does fine with all of them. She does great loading and unloading in the trailer. She is good to be caught and will come for grain or treats when you whistle. She isn’t phased by loud noises and does well carrying a flag. No matter if it’s snowing, windy, raining, or perfectly clear outside, she will ride and perform well and work hard.
