Cruiser bike with child carrier.

Vintage Swallow Araya “Terrace” street vintage city cruiser.

I’ve never seen anything like this bike. The story behind it from the collector I bought it from was that it was shipped here from Japan for a Weber state student long ago. I can’t find anything like it on eBay or just googling what I can find in the bike.

There is what appears to be a hand written location and possibly a license number on the bike. When I use the google translator it says the bike is from Momijigaoka (紅葉丘) - a populated place, specifically a town or district, located in Fuchū City, Tokyo Prefecture, Japan.

It’s had quite a journey and now looking For a new home as we downsize and clean out our garage.

What’s so cool about this bike are the little inspirational statements this bike has on the “Terrace” model name badges (see pics).

This is definately for a smaller frame person and has a super cool toddler rack with handlebars and foot rests. Front basket for your daily trip to the market.

Single speed and rear back peddle brake. Super cool retro front friction generator headlight that still works. Everything else works and looks great. An amazing vintage bike ready for the road or could be a fantastic display for your store / commercial space.
