Hard to Find 1950’s Novelty Tube AM/FM Radio by Guild. This working radio is called Buttons n' Bows. It is a cabinet radio that resembles a spool/thread cabinet. It opens up to the dials for the radio. The 4 dials resemble thread spools & thimbles. From left to right the dials are as follows: 1. On/Off & Volume 2. Tone 3. AFC/FM/AM 4. Tuning. The dial area background decor is miscellaneous sewing items & the illuminated tuning dial is in the middle of the tape measure decor. The 2 drawers on the outside are false drawers & do not open. Intricate transfer decal on the top scroll & on the fold down door. There are 3 slots on each side were the speakers are housed. It turns on and plays music. Has not been tested for extended periods. It measures 13 1/2 tall x 14 1/4 wide x 8 3/4 deep. This radio is in vintage working condition. Scratches to the wood. Fold down door is loose. Great item for the radio collector, sewing buff or for anyone wanting a very UNIQUE conversation piece for their home. DON'T MISS THIS ONE BECAUSE THEY ARE HARD TO FIND
