We obtained this Geiger Counter from a cabin we purchased. It is a DG-2 Detectron produced in North Hollywood, California. The little research we completed shows it is most likely from the 1950's and was sold to find uranium. We opened it and took some pictures. We saw no obvious damage. But, we did not install batteries to avoid damaging the tubes or wires. We are selling it "as-is" due to lack of knowledge and the age.
