The motor without the intake manifold on the dolly is a 5.9L (360 CI) that I had running before being pulled; no funny or knocking noises. It came out of a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ with ~220,000 miles on it.
It had an issue with the #8 (rear passenger side) cylinder where there was coolant getting into the cylinder. I tried engine sealer on it but that didn’t work so I replaced it.
I did not pull the head to investigate things any further. Could be a bad gasket, warped or cracked head, etc.

Have many extra jeep engine parts for models ZJ & WJ as well.
