This 14.5" Rancher is built on a solid, rawhide-wrapped, wood tree. The saddle is Double-D rigged with a 3/4 rigging. The swells are undercut, like a form-fitter, so you can comfortably lock your legs into them if you get ito a situation. It also sits bigger. I usually ride a 16" saddle, but I fit in this one pretty good. The cantle rises to 3.5" to hold you in. The gullet width is 8". The fleece is real sheepskin in awesome condition. The saddle comes ready to ride with front and back cinch. There are saddle strings and rings all the way around to tie and clip your gear onto. The stirrup leathers have a Hamley Twist, so they hang ready to slide your feet in. The stirrups leathers can be let out a long way for a tall cowboy. There is a new mulehide horn-wrap to protect your horn cover. The near-side front has an over-sized pony ring you can put a lead rope through to lead an extra horse. There is a lariat-keeper to hold your rope. This saddle would be ideal for ranching, hunting, or as a mountain saddle.
