Ghost’s sixth psalm, Skeletá, is its most unflinchingly introspective work to date, pressed exclusively to Oxidized Metallic Silver liquid LP with silver mirror-board sleeve. Produced by Gene Walker and mixed by Andy Wallace and Dan Malsch the record deals largely with chronicling and/or observing outward facing subject matter – such as Impera’s meditations on the rise and fall of empires and its predecessor Prequelle’s evocations of the ravages of era-defining plagues – Skeletá’s lyrics render the distinct individual emotional vistas of each of its 10 songs in one-on-one fashion, at times as if in a dialogue with oneself in a mirror. The end result is a singular collection of timeless, universal sentiments, all filtered through a prism of a uniquely personal point of view.
I have 3 of these left for sale. They are all in really similar condition which is why I didn’t put pictures of all of them but if you purchase and there are multiple still available, you can totally have your pick. They were shipped to me unsealed so I took pics and then put them in protective plastic sleeves to keep them in good condition. They are brand new and have Bebe been played. This is such a cool vinyl to have for your collection especially because of the metallic liquid part and the silver mirror sleeve. It is an incredibly well designed and thought out variant of this album! I’m excited for you to see it in person!
