For sale is this amazing Ping PLD DS72 face balanced putter. According to the Ping serial number look up, this putter was custom ordered from Ping. The specs are DS72 head in carbon steel, stealth shaft, 2 degree loft, 1 degree flat lie (red lie) and 34 inch in length. The serial number is AWA1777. This is a little different than most PLD DS72 putters. The milled PLD DS72 is milled from stainless steel and is 365 grams. This one is milled from carbon steel, which is a little lighter at 360 grams. Carbon steel is the same metal that is used in the Viktor Hovland putters. The stock loft is 3 degrees, this is 2 degrees. Stock lie angle is 20 degrees. This is one degree flat. The grip is a SuperStroke Tour 2.0 in excellent condition. This putter feels great, looks amazing all blacked out, and is a little lighter than a Milled PLD putter you can get off the rack. What is also unique is the Viktor Hovland DS72 has a smooth face. This has a milled face and feels a lot softer. I've never seen a milled face carbon steel DS72 putter. New, a milled PLD is $450 plus tax. This one is used, but in great shape. No damage to the head, just a little of the black finish wearing off on the bottom, as expected. Price is $300 with the black head cover. If you want the PLD head cover, price is $325. Would consider a straight trade for a Bettinardi Studio Stock 16 in similar (very good-excellent) condition.
