This Kelty backpack is in excellent condition. It has probably only been used once. I can hardly tell that it's been used except for a couple small scratches on the metal frame. All straps, buckles, and zippers work. There are not any holes, rips, or tears. There are 6 zippered pouches outside of the main compartment. The main compartment is divided with an upper and lower sections. The lower section is accessible from the outside by a zippered opening. The top compartment is accessible after opening the top cover and has a drawstring that helps seal things up or expansion for larger loads.

External frame packs allow for greater ventilation and generally carry heavier weight better than internal frame packs. Hunting packs like Eberlestock, Mystery Ranch, and others use external frames for this reason when packing out animals.
