This is Ford 3.5 short block core out of my 2011Taurus.

This is a later 2011 block, same as they used in 2012 although I tend to think even earlier versions are the same as far as the short block is concerned, (just the heavier timing chain and the heads were different, I believe.) I purchased the car knowing the water pump had failed and so I replaced this motor.

It will need to be bored and the crank turned. Connecting rods, oil pan, rear main, and some other parts are included along with all the bolts. The timing cover isn't included at this price.

If you need to rebuild a 3.5, this block can give you a head-start so you don't have your vehicle torn apart for as long.

I'll be putting it in my covered storage, I just took it apart today. I wanted to see how much damage antifreeze in oil can do. The heads were shot!
