ZelleUWS gloss black aluminum 36" truck side tool box (low profile)
I just bought a used Nissan Frontier and the previous owner had these tool boxes on the truck. The boxes look to be in great shape and seems really well built. The previous owner had them bolted on the bed rails with a track system and also bolted to the floor. If you don't have a track system, you could easily drill through the edge of the bed. They should work on any truck! The legs really didn't seem to be supporting any weight, not sure if you could attach the tool boxes to the truck without these but I would try it if I were keeping them. They aren't very deep, but would be nice for smaller tools or supplies. They're lockable (2 keys each) and waterproof. I've attached several pictures from a website with some of their specs, so please take a look.

The best prices I'm seeing online for new units are around $1300 (for a set of 2). Asking $200 OBO.
