This is a FRx Phillips HeartStart defibrillator which is FDA approved. It comes with a new battery, some pads, and protective case.

To run it you just hit the #1 button to automatically turn on and it guides you through the steps. There are also pictures on the pads and on the unit that light up to let you know what to do. It is simple and easy. Advantages are it is light weight and smaller than others, it has a more protective case which is better in rougher conditions, and operating costs are low.

The protective case is more rugged than others in that it completely encloses the unit and has space around it. The bottom of the case is worn and cosmetic. The new battery was just installed. It comes from a clinic that no longer needs it. It has an automated diagnostics and self test. It checks that it is ready to go every day and lets you know when the battery needs to be changed.
