"More Trailer For Your Money"
8.5 x 30 Wells Cargo Sport Trac 10K Snowmobile Trailer – Ready To Work!
Drive Over Wheel Boxes, Finished Interior, Nudo Floor
The Wells Cargo Sport Trac Mid-Deck is the heavy-duty evolution of the enclosed powersports hauler, specifically engineered to handle the "no limits" demands of off-road and snow adventure. By blending an all-steel frame with a 21" mid-deck height, the Sport Trac provides a wide 8'1" interior and drive-over wheel boxes that allow for a front and rear ramp "flow-through" design—perfect for getting multiple machines to the trail without the hassle of backing up.
CORE FEATURES OF THE WELLS CARGO SPORT TRAC
Mid-Deck Hybrid Platform with Tapered Drive-Over Wheel Boxes The deck is positioned at a 21" height, sitting partially above the axles.
The Benefit: This hybrid height is the secret to its massive utility. By elevating the floor slightly, the interior wheel boxes become low-profile and tapered, allowing you to drive directly over them. This creates a functional 83" of width between the wheel boxes, ensuring even the widest long-travel UTVs or dual snowmobiles can fit comfortably without getting wedged.
"No-Reverse" Drive-In, Drive-Out Ramp System The Sport Trac features a 94" wide rear ramp door and a 66" wide front ramp door integrated into the V-nose.
The Benefit: Efficiency is built into the frame. You drive your machines in through the rear and simply drive out through the front V-nose ramp upon arrival. Both ramps are spring-assisted and include 16" PlexCore ramp extensions, providing a smooth, low-angle transition that prevents high-centering or track spinning.
3/4" PlexCore™ High-Performance Flooring The entire interior deck and both ramps are surfaced with PlexCore, an engineered, water-resistant flooring.
The Benefit: Standard plywood is the enemy of snowmobile trailers, as it rot and delaminates from melting snow. PlexCore is structurally stiffer and treated to resist moisture, meaning your floor won't swell or soften after a season of hauling slushy sleds. It provides a rugged, long-lasting foundation for heavy-duty 5,000 lb recessed D-rings.
Dexter Torflex® Suspension (45° Down Axles) Standard equipment includes independent rubber torsion axles set at a 45-degree downward angle.
The Benefit: Torsion suspension eliminates the clatter and bounce of leaf springs, providing an incredibly smooth tow. The 45-degree down configuration is specifically chosen for the mid-deck to maintain a low center of gravity for highway stability while providing enough ground clearance for those rutted, snow-packed trailhead parking lots.
16" On-Center All-Tube Frame Construction The floor, vertical wall posts, and roof bows are all constructed with tube steel on 16" centers.
The Benefit: Unlike many competitors that use C-channel or "Z-posts," Wells Cargo utilizes a fully boxed tube skeleton. This creates a rigid "cage" that resists the twisting forces of off-road terrain. It ensures that the large front and rear ramp doors stay perfectly aligned and that the trailer can handle the stress of max-capacity payloads for years.
Bonded (Screwless) .030 Aluminum Exterior The exterior skin is applied using a high-strength bonding agent instead of mechanical screws.
The Benefit: This creates a clean, automotive-grade aesthetic that is free of the "rippling" caused by temperature-related expansion. Without thousands of screw holes, the trailer is virtually leak-proof and significantly easier to wash or wrap with custom graphics, as there are no protruding heads to catch dirt or rust.
ArmorTech™ Protective Coating on A-Frame & Rear Rail High-wear areas are treated with ArmorTech, a specialized, heavy-duty protective coating.
The Benefit: The front tongue and rear door frame are the areas most susceptible to rock chips and road salt corrosion. The ArmorTech coating acts like a "bed-liner" for your trailer's frame, providing a rugged barrier that prevents rust and keeps your trailer looking professional despite the harsh chemical environments of winter driving.
