No tears or writing to the actual pages and the cover looks quite nice, too especially for its’ age but it does have a very small separation at the inside back and front where it connects to the front and back covers. It also has a previous owners name card taped at the inside cover with the name whited out. It really is a very beautiful red book with gold.
