This machine is in excellent condition and everything works as it should. It is both air and motorpowered. You simply press the foot pedal, and an air clamp holds the wood in place, and the twin 3/8 drill bits make 2 perfect dowel holes. We use these to make high end cabinet frames or door frames where alignment is critical . Also, many people use this for boring the hole in the back of the drawer for the soft close drawer glides.
